Ytd officially marks the end of John Little Mega Expo Sale 2007,
which means my job has ended.
I've a lot of things to say about this job.
Firstly, I'm very happy to meet some new friends there.
Though some of them are my school mates but I seldom get to talk to them.
I was absent for the first three days thus I was a little slow in learning.
I was working with Geok Ghee as a packer on my first day.
For the next few days, I was working with Shahril and I could see that he handle customers really well.
From there, I learnt a lot from him and I worked with Shu Xian for the rest of the days.
Shu Xian also taught me a lot of stuffs.
Initially I only know how to serve customers with cash/visa/nets.
But after working with her, I know how to handle all sorts of payment.
From cash to visa to nets to voucher to cashcard to JL value plus.
Really everything.
I love my mum.
She always prepare dinner for me in a box for me to eat.
So sweet of her.
Most of the time I'll be having dinner with
GG, Hui Lin, Winnie, Shahril and Derrick.
Not forgetting Ben Goh, the food provider.
He always buy different types of food and give us try on different flavours.
Last but not least is Li Ting.
She's always so caring,
telling me to be careful when I'm going home alone late at night.
Next, I get to know another group of ppl which were the seniors.
They were extremely friendly and helpful.
I don't really know their names but there's this lady which i really love.
Her name is Anne, though I'm not sure is this the correct spelling.
She knows how to handle those irritating customers
& she helped Shu Xian and I when we're having some problems without fail.
I really love her for being so friendly and kind.
There's another one called Helen.
Though many of them don't like her but I think that she's still okie.
She always tell me:
Aiya qin cai la, customer say what price then what price.
HAHA!
Thats what I like about her because there's no time for her to check for the price as customers were always complaining that they'd waited very long.
The rest of the seniors I don't really know their names and I don't really talk to them so I think I'll not talk about them.
Lastly, I would like to comment about some of the customers.
There's one incident when Hui Bo was being point middle finger by a customer.
That's really rude right!
It's our job to check for the SKU and price yet the customer was unhappy.
Hui Bo didn't do anything wrong yet the customer wants to complain to the head of department.
And there's a few similar case where customers want to refund everything =.=
There's this $10 coupon that could be used when you spent $100 and above.
Some of the customers had forgotten to take it out when paying,
and when the whole transaction had finished,
they then took out the coupon and said they want to use it.
Then, we'll have to refund all the items and then rescan everything again.
Omg. What's the point man.
It's not worth it for them too.
They've to waste another 15min also =.=
Some of them even blame us for not reminding them to take out their coupons.
Oh gosh!
How the hell do we know they have the coupons!
They're really terrible customers you know.
Some showed us attitude but there's some that were really nice.
There's one time when I scanned wrongly yet she told me to take my time.
Lastly I would like to say about some ppl whom we dislike.
We named them Bitches.
Though it sound kinda offending but they're really horrible ppl.
I don't think its worth mentioning in my blog so I'll just skip it.
But we were really happy when we snatched the cab from them two times.
Yes its two time!
Maybe we're even more horrible. HAHA!
After working in expo, I've learnt a lot of things.
I'll take everything as an experience and do better in future.
Okie, it's a long post already.
I'm going to miss everything =/
